She also is experienced working with the OOV as a rehab tool. Martha combines her dance background with her physical therapy background in conjunction with Pilates to bring the joy of Pilates movement and its therapeutic benefits to fit all body types. She uses Pilates to help improve overall range of motion, flexibility, core strength, coordination and movement flow. Martha also may use medical devices such as Avazzia, and PEMF with the Kloud Mat to enhance her therapy. Martha is currently completing her certification in Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) which identifies and facilitates letting go of “stuck” mind-body stress patterns.
As a rehabilitation tool, Martha finds Pilates to be the most effective intervention. She contends Pilates is applicable and safe for all population.
