Heidi’s passion for the body and movement led her to expand her knowledge by becoming a certified Oov Practitioner and earning a certification from Neuro Studio, specializing in Pilates for Neurological Conditions. Her love of the body finds her as a lifelong student, continuing her education in the movement rehabilitation worlds as much as possible.
Heidi's extensive background in dance informs her understanding of body mechanics, making her a sought-after instructor for both movement and rehabilitation. She teaches Pilates, dance, and movement classes in St. Petersburg, as well as for Sarasota Ballet, and continues to perform her own dance work in various venues across Florida and Los Angeles. As a founding member of the LAYERS platform in LA, Heidi produced multiple workshops dedicated to movement exploration and returns periodically to work with the Pennington Dance Group.
In addition to her work in Pilates, Heidi is building a non-stopping practice under the guidance of Jeanine Durning, continually evolving her approach to movement and rehabilitation. At Body Center St. Pete, she helps clients achieve balance, strength, and flexibility, offering personalized Pilates sessions that incorporate movement re-education.
When not teaching or performing, Heidi and her husband Will enjoy their time as proud cat parents to Penny.
