Physical fitness and spending time outdoors has always been a favorite pastime for Alyson. She was a competitive gymnast for 8 years at Trousdell Gymnastics Center in Tallahassee, where she was born and raised. During her school years, she participated in soccer, cheerleading, rock climbing and capoeira. After attending TCC and FSU, she moved to Orlando in 2013. It was here that she discovered and fell in love with yoga and meditation. She dedicated herself to learning different styles of these practices and in her desire to share this knowledge with others, decided to pursue various trainer certifications. She dove into the yoga community in Orlando, participating in numerous events for companies like lululemon, Elevate Orlando and Juice Lab. She taught weekly classes at Warrior One and provided one-on-one training to numerous private clients.
Alyson’s love for the outdoors took her to Colorado in 2015 where she worked as director for LoDo Massage. She was instrumental in starting up and teaching at RiNo Yoga Social in 2017, which is an underground event-based yoga and movement studio. She moved back to Florida in 2020 and continued to teach wellness workshops to corporations via Zoom classes during the pandemic through LoDo Massage. She moved to the St. Pete area in 2021 when she decided to branch her career out further by attending the Center for Neurosomatic Studies to obtain her massage therapy license.
One of Alyson’s best qualities is her ability to connect with people, identify their needs, and share her knowledge of wellness and the human body to ultimately assist them in healing and finding peace within. Alyson has always maintained a wonderful optimism and playful attitude for life, based on her philosophy of living abundantly and continually lifting the quality of her life and those around her. Whether you’re in the mood to wind down and let go, recalibrate your body and get clear understanding, or power up and feel energized, Alyson can bring exactly what you need to the massage table.
